The AWTOS Valve has a market value of $499, but we offer it to policyholders at no cost because we truly believe in the protection it offers. It is installed directly on your main water line, and constantly monitors water temperature, pressure, and flow rates. During a detected emergency, it automatically shuts off water flow to prevent damage. The valve boasts a premium build, with solid copper piping instead of the PVC you find in some retail valves. This means it resists bacteria and can handle extreme temperatures and pressures.
Place the AWTOS Water Sensors in high-risk areas, for an extra layer of defense. Put them near your water heater, your washing machine, and under your sinks – they’ll detect leaks early, then alert you and trigger the valve. The sensors are available as low as $20 each when you order five or more.
The last piece of the system is the AWTOS App and Monitoring Service. You get real-time alerts from the valve and sensors on your phone, and can track your water usage history. The Monitoring Service subscription is $10 a month.

How Policyholders can Order AWTOS
Ordering AWTOS is simple, and you can do it yourself in our MY180 platform.
- Login to MY180.com.
- On the home screen, scroll to My Policies and click your home insurance policy number.
- On your policy page, click the Savings and Smart Home Add-ons tab.
- Confirm your address, and select the quantity of optional AWTOS Water Sensors you'd like to add to your order.
- If you select zero sensors, simply click Add Device to place your order for the AWTOS Turn-Off Valve.
- If you choose to purchase AWTOS Water Sensors, add your preferred payment method and click Pay to complete the purchase and order.

Important
- The AWTOS Water Turn-Off Valve must be installed by a licensed plumber, with cost borne by the policyholder. It requires an interior location with a nearby electrical outlet and a continuous Wi-Fi connection.
- Coverage updates are applied after proof of installation and Monitoring Service activation; this service must be maintained for benefits to apply.
- The premium discount is applied from the first home insurance policy renewal after AWTOS is installed, and you’ll continue to receive it each year.
